Jordyn Byers is a second year student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, with current focus in Public Relations. In addition to a diligent study schedule, Jordyn is an active member of the Screen Actors Guild and known for her stunt work. With all of her past achievement in television and video, Jordyn aspires to be a successful public relations representative within Hollywood.
Growing up immersed in television and movies, her father, Emmy award winner Mark Byers, was a great influence on her career goals. Beginning in 5th grade, Jordyn was apart of her schools video program, where she anchored the morning news and continued to do so throughout high school. Once graduating, she was accepted and set to attend the most distinguished school for her journalistic interest, the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Through her school’s recognition amongst the media and personally made connections, Jordyn’s future is expected to be favorable.
